Customer Reviews: Best flying toy! June 20, 2010 Janet A. Hanstad (small town Colorado) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Our family loves the backyard flyers! The Kid Galaxy Backyard Flyer V Wing flies a lot like the Kid Galaxy Backyard Flyer Vector. We have gotten some really great, really high (our highest flight was about 300 feet up) flights if the wind is just right. These will not stay in a backyard. You need a big area to fly one. We use the soccer fields near our house and that works pretty well most of the time. Occassionally we get a flight that goes further and we have an adventure trying to get the plane from someone's yard or a tree. If your child loves planes or model airplanes, this toy will be their all time favorite. It really flies! You charge it for about the count of twenty and then push a button to let it fly. Sometimes it will fly for just a few seconds before it crashes and sometimes it will fly for about a minute and really soar. The flyer tends to circle so it usually lands within about 100 feet of where you started. It is a fabulous toy! I really like the design of the launcher. It is easy for my 6 year old son to hold and it doesn't look like a gun. It holds up ok. They aren't real sturdy but they handle crashing well. They do break if handled roughly but they seem to fly pretty well with some dammage.
