View larger. | Real Working Suspension With front and rear suspension, oval block tires, and a skid plate, this flashy red car is tough enough for all kinds of indoor surfaces. Kids can test the car's performance on carpets, uneven floors, or homemade obstacle courses. The controller/charger features steering control while driving in forward or reverse, a "turbo" button for acceleration, and a trim adjuster that optimizes steering. Recharge Car's Battery in 50 Seconds Before taking the Micro for a spin, an adult should help install the controller/charger's three "AAA" batteries (not included). Conquer Any Indoor Surface Except for very thick shag carpeting, the Micro can drive anywhere in your home. To ensure straight driving, adjust a trim switch located on the car's hood. The controller's throttle and direction buttons control right forward, left forward, right backward, and left backward movements. Accelerate with Turbo Boost Need a little extra power to overcome an obstacle and win the race? Hit the "turbo" button on the controller/charger and send the Micro into overdrive. Each of the different Terrain Titans is wired to a different frequency, allowing up to four different Micro models to race simultaneously. Refer to instruction manual for the process of removing/replacing both the front and rear wheels. Adults may want to assist when cleaning the car or snapping the wheels back into place. Waste Of Money July 28, 2010 EdwardEdwardEdward 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item thinking that it would be something fun to toy around with when I'm bored.
I was shocked at how small and cheap the car was. I honestly can't remember how much I paid? Something like $15, but it was worth more like $5. Plus i had to buy batteries for it, so tack on another $5.
The car works. I mean.. You can charge it and then it kinda rolls around. It's not fast and it doesn't have much power, so don't expect it to climb up any inclines or do anything fun like a jump. I don't think it would have enough strenght to pull a couple of quarters, hahahah.
I almost broke the damn thing just taking it out of the box. It stalls unless you point the sensor directly at the car. I'm really not sure how this is supposed to be fun?
I'd send it back if it weren't so cheap! Buyer Beware!
Neat little car - key word is LITTLE July 19, 2010 B. Roberson (Portland, Oregon, USA) Just got this and have to say I was SHOCKED at how tiny it is. It's truly about the size of a Hot Wheels car. I thought it was going to be much bigger. Additionally, it is VERY delicate. Also, it works on IR, not radio, so daytime outdoor use is not going to happen. That's OK, since it should be only be used indoors. I bought it so my son could drive it on our carpet where his other car stalls out, but forget it, it's far too small for that.
That said, it does work as advertised, the little remote is easy to figure out for kiddos and the one-minute recharge is cool. I recommend getting at least 6 rechargeable AAA batteries to rotate in and out of the remote or you'll spend a fortune on AAA batts.
It's a neat little car but again, it's REALLY tiny (it's basically the size of a slot car) and delicate, too delicate for my 3-year-old. I'm letting him play with it but I know it will only last a day and then be broken, good thing it only cost a fiver.
I'm going to get something a little bigger for him next time.
Would be five stars if it worked April 14, 2010 Bob C (Santa Clara, CA United States) I got two of these for my kids for Christmas. One never worked at all. Sent it back and was sent a new one. These are great, but they are way too tempermental. They've been used probably less than 60 minutes total and, at this point, are not really useable anymore. One goes at only a snails pace and one seems to go only a few inches before it stops. Very disappointing. Would like to give more than one star, but how can I? -- they don't work.
junk...junk...junk... February 20, 2010 MACATTACK (INDIANA) junk...it lasted to days then the wheels started falling off...had problem with the controls and charger..it sputters instead of running smooth...
stop and go stop and go stop and go February 3, 2010 mr pballer44 Title says it all got 3 cars and they all do the same stop and go as your driving.
Limited range 20.
Pretty cool idea to fit all that in a matchbox size car wish the cars worked better and were smooth operating, very frustrating to drive as the car is hicupping along
Tried brand new batteries, checked for hair wrapped around the wheels ect... not worth it maybe there is another MFG that works better??
