Customer Reviews: Did Not Meet Expectations August 18, 2010 Lisa My husband bought this for our almost 2 year old son who LOVES cars. He was always playing with his daddy's RC Audi but broke the antenna on the remote and now it's sharp/not safe for a 2 year old.
This was supposed to be a safe replacement, but it was really just a big waste of money. It is ALWAYS on, running backwards in circles unless you turn it off. The one button remote runs it forwards out of the circle but my son found it frustrating that he didn't really have control over the car (he was used to a "real" remote). Anyway, so since it was always running, I would turn it off but then my son would decide he wanted to play again and get frustrated because it was off so I would turn it on and it would stay on....etc. etc. This pattern ended when the batteries ran dead. Within 8 hours of buying the toy.
It's been over a month and I refuse to replace the batteries for such a worthless toy. My son sometimes plays with it w/out batteries, just making drive around his room like you would a hotwheels. Hot wheels don't cost $15, though...

I bought this toy as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, who just turned 2. It is fun to watch her play with it by herself. It is very simple in design and easy to use. You simply push a button on the controller to play. The car is made of tough plastic and seems very durable,as does the remote.I would recommend this car to anyone who has a child into " Toy Story ".
