Product specs indicate that this toy is for an older child, but my 4-year-old grandson wanted a remote control truck like his friend had. Instead of buying him the same thing, I found the Street Savage Stunt Car and bought it. He LOVES it! So far, it appears to be very durable and he's having a blast with it. It does WAY more than your average remote control car. The only reason I can see that it would be for an older child is that you have to remember to turn off both the transmitter and the car when you stop playing with it so the batteries won't run down. And I predict that the first time my grandson forgets and has to wait for new batteries, he won't forget again. I am DELIGHTED with this product!
