Air Hog, toy January 17, 2010 tiny.mama (NC) I can't imagine any child not enjoying this hover chopper...even the adults! I wasn't co-ordinated enough to operate it!
Was warped when I got it. It is a piece of junk December 21, 2009 T. J. Rainey (Hatcher Pass, Alaska) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Poor craftsmanship. The tail rotor boom was so warped to one side I could not trim it enough to overcome the defect. Appears to be endemic to this manufacurer. I had a diferent model that came with a broken tail rotor blade and also had to completely trim to one side to get it to half way fly. I had virtually no control over the helo.
I would rank this manufacturer's products as cheap junk and will not purchase again. Spend a few more dollars and get something you can actually use from a different manufacturer. Thanks to Amazon for great customer service with quick refund.
Awesome Toy for Teens/Adults December 5, 2009 Christopher S. Bey (Fredericksburg VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Exceeded all expectations -- full directional control; outstanding stability. Once the trim controls are dialed in and you have a little practice it flys brilliantly! I've had mine for for about 2 months, completed over 100 flights in my 12'x20' living room with 9' ceilings and it's still going strong. At least half my flights have end in crashes that would have clearly killed all the imaginary people on-board several ties over, as well as some mid-air collisions at full throttle with the ceiling fan (it was off) that ended so violently I was convinced that was the last flight. For what it is and the cost it's proven to be exceptionally durable and a superb indoor RC flier. I'll definately buy another when this one finally does break.
Good, but not as good as Havoc Heli December 1, 2009 A. Amorim (Clemson, SC) I love my Havoc Heli and thought this would be even better, but I think my Havoc Heli flies better.
BTW, do NOT take of the front stabilizing plastic fin.
don't buy this! October 28, 2009 Walter T. Bell (Lake Tahoe, CA, USA) So much hype, so little use. Didn't fly well. Thought maybe there was a manufacturing problem. Got another one. Still didn't work. Single blade is better.
