View Larger. /span /td/tr /table bHigh-Flying Fun/bbr Getting ready for your child's first flight couldn't be easier. With slide-lock air track pieces that are simple to put together, assembly only takes a few minutes. Kids are sure to be impressed by the bright colors and the twisting track right away. p Before take-off you'll need to use a Philips head screwdriver to install six AAA batteries (not included) -- three in Jumbo the jet and three in the remote control. Then snap Jumbo onto the track and set him in motion. The remote control has two buttons, so kids can set Jumbo spinning forward or backward on the air track loop. Designed to be easy for kids to grasp with two hands, the controller is shaped like a real plane's controller for increased fun. p bDurable, Colorful, and Easy-to-Expand/bbr It's easy to see why the GeoTrax system is a big hit with both parents and kids. A durable, colorful set that promises to jump-start active imaginations, the High Flyin' Airport offers stations around the base of the tower to inspire adventures below the air track. Kids can fill up a gas tank, set stairs for passengers to board a plane, or keep an eye on the security gate. The Pilot Jim figure can sit inside the Jumbo plane, ride the moving elevator to the top of the control tower, or wait for a train ride home. And the plane itself can be pushed along or driven with the remote control, providing lots of options for creative play. p When friends, siblings, and parents want to get involved in the action, they may be disappointed that this set only includes one vehicle and one figure. But since the airport is compatible with other sets in the GeoTrax system, you can expand it to create a whole GeoTrax community with more vehicles, figures, and places for them to visit. Whether you have one set or many, GeoTrax offer a great opportunity for future pilots and engineers to play alone or cooperatively. p bWhat's in the Box/bbr Main tower, terminal base, traffic control top, loading station, air track with tabs, air track with support, four standard air track pieces, security gate, trestle base, trestle post, remote control, Jumbo jet, and pilot Jim figure. br clear="all"

Product Description
Kids' imaginations can reach for the skies as they create their very own GeoTrax world. The GeoAir High Flyin' Airport brings an all-new way to expand the GeoTrax world. With so many ways to play, this set includes a main tower with a kid-activated elevator, three bays where the plane can fuel up, fix up and board passengers, a security gate and drop-off platform, and the most "elite" team in all of GeoTown -- Eagle 1 R/C jet plane and his pilot Captain Wright. The pilot figure can sit and ride right inside the plane. p GeoAir R/C planes simply clip onto the flexible GeoAir track and fly around the entire set, doing loops, swoops and daredevil dives. Activate the plane and sound effects using the easy-to-operate kid controls on the new R/C controller. With this set, connect the nine included pieces to form ten feet of GeoAir track; then attach it to the tower and runway to form a "figure nine." You can expand your GeoAir set in two ways: connect the GeoAir track to another GeoAir site, or connect the GeoTrax ground track to the entire GeoTrax rail and road world. Additional GeoAir sets sold separately. Requires six "AAA" batteries, not included. Measures 36"L x 15"W x 33"H.

4 out of 5 stars My son love it but plastic moulding precision questionable   December 2, 2008

When I first received the package, I found a bonus not listed in the product page. It comes with a free Geotrax 3 series DVD (with GeoAir). br /Setting up br /---------- br /There are not many pieces in the box. The steps to construct the control tower with "air" tracks are pretty short too. However, I found two major flaws with the plastic moulding. First and most important flaw is the blue main base of the toy. Yes, an adult is needed to setup the pieces (just like Geotrax Grand central station that I bought previously for my son too). But getting the control tower all the way into the blue main base piece needs a great amount of force as well as a flat tip screw driver. You won't be able to force the control tower in unless you insert the screw driver to pry for more space. The slot for the control tower is smaller than the control tower, plastic moulding not precise! The second but more minor problem is the yellow gate. It does not fit securely onto the blue main base piece again due to lack of precision in plastic moulding. When your kid plays the toy, there's a chance the gate will come off frequently. The bundled plane needs 3 AAA battery and the infra-red remote uses 3 AAA too. Be prepared to use rechargeable or get more batteries if your child plays it frequently. br /Playing br /------- br /The remote is fairly easy for a kid to handle. It only has 2 buttons, one to start the plane moving on the track, the other to stop the plane moving on the track. The plane itself has a red button (with light) to on or off it. My younger two year old is able to handle the plane and remote. The sound given off by the remote when the buttons are pressed is loud and clear, simulating the airplane flying and slowing down. It's quite fun at first to see the plane going up the track and suddenly rolling down. Your kid may also like lifting the pilot up the control tower. But without extending the track by getting add-ons or buying more planes, kids may find the toy boring after a while. br /Recommendation br /-------------- br /I see value for money for this toy since there is a remote control and most kids will get to learn something extra. Oh, and it comes with a free DVD (each series is pretty short though). But the plastic moulding could be more precise to make the toy easier to setup and maintain.

5 out of 5 stars GeoAir Airport is Great for Kids!   October 25, 2008

This is our first Geotrax/GeoAir Product we own. br / br /My brother bought this toy for my son's 3rd birthday - we put it together easily, it wasn't difficult to assemble at all. When my son woke up and found it, he immediately figured out to push the "green" button on the remote to make it go, and the "red" button to make it stop. He loves playing with it, and the ease of use makes it very fun for him. Educationally he was using the concepts, up and down, twis around, colors, and fine motor skills to push the buttons. br / br /The only downside is the airplane is "slightly" hard to push down on the tracks, but I think after a few days he'll get it. br / br /All in all I think this is a fantastic toy and I highly recommend it. I think my son has some more "Geo" items in hs future! br /

4 out of 5 stars Not much to it but my son loves it   October 24, 2008

My 4 yr old son saw this on a commercial and wanted it and to him it was no disappointment - he loves it. He plays with it constantly and I have to admit it is kind of cool and really added something special to his existing set. It just isnt made as durable as I would have liked and it doesnt actually hook up to his existing tract - you probably need the barn or the bridge for that. I wouldnt say that its worth [...] as it just doesnt seem like its made all that well, but if you ask my son he'd say its worth twice that. So you have to look at it through the eyes of the young.

4 out of 5 stars Love Geotrax Airport   September 29, 2008

My 2 boys aged 2 and 4 love all of their Geotrax trains, planes and helicopters. This airport teaches a new task of attaching the airplane to the track and controlling the flying in all sorts of directions, including upside down. We love the realistic sounds and durability of the Geotrax system. Both boys learned quickly how to use it correctly including putting the tracks together and of course taking them apart. We like the airport better than the previous airport, that we also have, but miss having a helicopter. My boys also love the Geotrax movies,a little silly but a good teamwork message is taught in them.
