I have around 10 different remote control cars (price ranges $[...])and this one is by far the best. It stops quick and my 4 year old has no problem controlling it. It can handle most terrains. Excellent I would highly recommend it. Great company to buy from.

My son is five and loves this toy. It does the best in dirt and over rocks. It also goes well in the swimming pool. It floats and plows through the water. My son has a lot of remote control things and really enjoys this one. The battery is a little difficult to put in it.

This car was a gift to my nephew for his second birthday and became an instant hit. He can't quite work the control alone but is just as excited to have someone else do it...great toy!

My son saw this in a catalog and asked for it for Christmas. I was a little unsure, he's had several rc cars before and they didn't last long. But now that he was a little older, I figured this would make a nice gift. We did have a little difficulty getting the battery compartment open on the contol, but we got it. Getting the rechargeable battery pack into the car was also tricky. But once we got them in, it worked great. I'm not sure how long the battery holds a charge, but since I'm not stuck sticking a bunch of disposable Cs or Ds into it, I'm not too worried. We looped the RC wire (on the car) around and taped it to the car using clear packing tape so that it doesn't accidentally get ripped off. We also marked the charger with "RC car" so that it doesn't get mixed up with all the other charging equipment in the house... br / br /Update: I wanted to update this review now that we've had the car for awhile. Now that my son has had the chance to play with it for awhile, I can better describe how it works. It works great inside on all surfaces-- carpet, tile, linoleum etc. And it works outdoors just great. It rolls over our landscaping rocks without a problem... goes through the grass (if it's not toooo long) nicely too. We have been hesitant to run it through puddles, though-- I'm a little sceptical. My son likes this car more than his friends' cars because it has the ability to turn around almost instantly because of the 4-wheel drive. It's really fast and fun. We did end up getting an extra battery and charger (because I lost the original charger-- then found it the day we bought a new one). So, we have a backup.
