 Fun for parents too February 26, 2010

This is a nice little remote control car for younger kids. If your getting more than 1 make sure you check Kid Galaxy website and get ones of different frequency or they cannot be used together. We bought 2 and one stopped working within a week of Christmas. Emailed Kid Galaxy and they sent me a new one, no hassle. They are both working well now. We sue rechargable batteries and they do fine. Have held up well to indoor play so far! Best we've found yet if you are looking for a remote control car that is simple, durable and fun (they spin pretty fast, reverse, forward, climb a little). Can't wait to try it in the water!

Purchased this for my 6 year old son and he enjoyed it while it worked. Unfortunately the on/off switch broke in one day.
I also purchased the Stingray and the movement is far slower than the shark. I don't know if it was designed that way or a defect. Very disappointed in make and durability and will not buy these series again.

We thought this car would be perfect for our 4 year old, but there were problems from the beginning. The battery compartment on the remote control did not stay closed (there was a rattle inside - probably a small internal piece had broken off). We taped the batteries in and thought we'd still give it a try. Unfortunately, the car did not operate correctly. It would move a few inches and then stall out and not move at all, regardless of how we moved the remote control levers. When it would move, it only made left turns. Not a lot of fun. We finally gave up and sent it back for a refund. I will say that the refund process was easy and quick, and we got all of our money back within a week.

The best toy I have ever gotten for my 4-year old son! He has been playing with it for days now. He has taken it to the beach, on the rocks, in the swimming pool! The car has done great. it is loads of fun! Very highly recommend it.
