Product Description Perfect for your child's very first battery-operated remote control vehicle, this colorful car comes with kid-friendly controls. Drive it in four directions: forward straight, reverse straight, forward to the left and forward to the right. Attach the car's remote control onto the top of the car when not in use to keep everything together. Also, its antenna becomes a handy carry handle. Requires 2 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included).

Cheap product August 10, 2008 BTB 's Mommy (North Carolina USA) This toy was bought for our son when he was about two. It has never worked properly. The batteries die only after a couple of short uses. We could live without this toy! It is currently no longer played with.
Wish I Could Still Retun It May 10, 2008 Seth's Mom 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved this car for my son, who had a great time playing with it twice until the car died. I cannot figure out what happened because the batteries are brand new. From reading these reviews, I am assuming that it may have been left on and the 6 required batteries are now garbage. I have never come across a child's toy that doesn't have a power save mode. This car is poorly made and if I had saved the packaging, I would definitely bring it back. For now, it is just a push around toy...it's cute the way the remote fits into the car, but it's comepletely useless now.
Good, but high maintenance April 9, 2008 M. Collins (Eastcoast) This little car is peppy and lots of fun, easy for a two-two-year-old to handle. My only complaint is that every time she wants to play with it, the thing needs new batteries. If the car is not stored with its switch in the "off" position, it dies.
Daddy needs an RC January 2, 2008 YC (Orlando, FL) This is a super cute first remote control car. Bought for my 2 1/2 year old and he has had fun with it (although can't operate it 100% accurately). My son actually likes it better when Daddy runs it and chases him with it. Daddy has had MUCH fun with it and it seems awfully solid - being Daddy, he has made ramps for it to run up and off, put it through his paces, plus my son has dropped it many times on the concrete patio where we use it. Everyone is happy with it so far - no complaints. In case you are new to the RC business, you need to check which frequency the car operates on if you want to run more than one at once. This one runs at 27 Mhz. If you are buying RC for older child or daddy, make sure it is a different frequency. I believe all the Chico cars run on 27, so you are out of luck if you have same age twins :-(
Nice when it works December 13, 2007 P. Zeissig (Boston, MA) It's a nice idea and the car moves quickly and easily. Good quality plastic and the transmitter stores on the car like a hardtop. Unfortunately the transmitter range is very short and it broke after a few weeks (radio wouldn't work anymore). Batteries don't last long, so get rechargeables.
