 Amazing first RC Car!! August 3, 2010

I got this toy for my son's 2nd birthday and it was a huge hit! It runs good on the carpet and awesome in the kitchen! Very good material not too hard and not too flimsy, and my son is getting good with the controls, my 4 year old daughter loves it just as much as he does! Amazing toy!

For $20 it's hard to complain. Real RC vehicles are at least 10x that much. Still, I wouldn't buy another one. Sadly, I only learned this after I already bought three of them for different kids. And all three (different models) worked the same and had the same limitations.
The biggest problem is the range - about 10'. It's also intermittent. Once in awhile, it will work from farther away. But it also fails from very close.
It is not powerful enough for most carpets. Works pretty well on hard floors. Even had trouble on asphalt driveway.
It's also loud and annoying. I ended up taking it apart and snipping the wire to the speaker.
All three kids lost interest pretty quickly. It's just not reliable enough for a kid's short attention span. They have too many toys that work every time.

I bought two of these for a birthday gift for two year olds. They loved them also one was pushing it around and it was being bent, but went right back to it's shape. Shipped very fast!

We bought this for our 22 month old and he loves it. There are only two different buttons on the controller so it was very easy for him to figure out. We did have a problem with the controller not communicating with the bus for some reason. It would just stop working all of a sudden and then just as suddenly start working again. When I called the company, though, they immediately sent us a new one. Now, our old one started working again so I'm not sure why that happened but our little guy loves the new one (and the old one when it's working)! :)
A little annoying but great toy January 17, 2010

I purchased this toy from my 2 year old son and he loves it. The remote controller only has two commands - foward and right turn, so that can be a little annoying when operating the toy, but my son manages to get it around. Also, the constant beeping sound it makes each time a button on the controller is pressed can really get to you after a while, but overall, a great product. I even find myself playing with it a few times. I recommend this toy.
