This is one of Rokenbok's cooler wireless-controlled trucks. Equipped with a foam roller up front, it can suck up Rokenbok balls, depositing them in its rear compartment for later dumping. (Powered control requires a command deck and one control pad, sold separately.) The Power Sweeper includes a driver and 20 balls. The Rokenbok construction system, of which this set is a part, incorporates a vast array of snap-together construction modules, as well as radio-controlled vehicles and other snazzy motorized widgets. With a central control module, it's possible to remotely command up to eight different machines using either one or multiple handsets. Cleverly designed radio controls steer and move a very responsive vehicle and are quickly interchangeable between vehicles. Detailed building plans are included, though they are not as easy to follow as you might hope. My kids use this vehicle to clean up the last of the balls that they can't grab with the other loaders. This one doesn't take as much driving skill since it sucks the balls up. Lots of fun.

My six-year-old got some money from Grandma for Christmas, and spent it on the RC Power Sweeper. He loves it, and the rest of us have great fun with it too! Finally there's a fun way to pick up all the stray balls that inevitably end up scattered around the play area. The engineering is excellent; the vehicle is strong and the sweeper is effective. When it dumps its balls out the back tipper, some always end up staying in the slanted front portion -- but this is fine, because the sweeper comes with extra balls, so you can just leave that part always loaded, or you can reverse the sweeper to spit them out the front. br / br /This vehicle is slightly harder to control than other Rokenbok vehicles we've tried, because it's the first to use all four buttons (for sweeper in/out and tipper up/down). But my son got the hang of it quickly and was soon zipping around the layout, sweeping up balls, and then purposely dumping more out just so he could sweep those up too. I highly recommend this toy.

The Power Sweeper is the most useful Rokenbok vehicle, even though it is expensive, slow moving and odd looking. When you set up a Rokenbok world it sin't long and you have little balls scattered about that need picked up. The Loader and the Skip Track can pick up balls stray balls but it takes a lot of action to pick them up. Meanwhile the Sweeper, while slow moving just drives over each stray ball and sucks it up into its cavernous cargo area. It can easily receive balls into its back cargo area as well the front end will lift up so you can reverse the roller to dump balls into cargo bins, etc. Yes, it costs more than some Rokenbok vehicles but it is very versatile to the task of moving balls within the world you will create. The only downside is that it is slow to drive and to dump the cargo.
